  • 2 min read
Perth Heritage Roses is excited to announce that our next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 20 July. This gathering promises to be an engaging panel-style session, designed specifically for enthusiasts and anyone interested in the captivating world of old roses. During this interactive event, attendees will have the unique opportunity to pose their questions directly to our panel of experts regarding various aspects of these timeless blooms.

Whether you are curious about the best practices for growing these vintage varieties, the specific techniques involved in pruning them to ensure healthy growth and beautiful blooms, or if you have any other inquiries related to the care and cultivation of old roses, we encourage you to join us for this enriching knowledge-sharing experience.

In addition to the informative discussions, we are thrilled to announce that following the meeting, participants will have the chance to purchase a selection of rare old roses, available for just $20 each. This is a fantastic opportunity not only to enhance your own garden with these exquisite plants but also to support our Perth Region group. The proceeds from these sales will directly contribute to the ongoing activities and initiatives that promote the appreciation and preservation of heritage roses in our community.

We are fortunate to have a distinguished panel for this event, consisting of Lynne Chapman, Jacqui Davies, and Jan Eastman, all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of rose cultivation. Their expertise will be invaluable as they share insights and answer your questions, ensuring that you leave the meeting with a deeper understanding and greater confidence in caring for old roses.

For additional information about this event, including details about the location and timing, please refer to the attached flyer. Should you have any further inquiries or require assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to me, Jan Eastman, the Co-ordinator of Perth Heritage Roses Perth Region, via our email address perthregionhria@gmail.com. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing our passion for these beautiful and historic plants!

ENTRY FEE IS $5, which includes a raffle ticket to win a Heritage Rose!
