Autumn Acts as a Mirror For Our Lives

Autumn has arrived and the leaves are turning red, orange & gold. What a spectacle! Autumn acts as a mirror for our lives, signaling that change is not only inevitable but can be beautiful and necessary for growth. It teaches us to let go of what we no longer need and to embrace maturity and find the value in a slower pace where we can rest and cease our striving for 100% productivity.

As the trees shed their leaves to prepare for winter, autumn encourages us to release old habits and regrets. It teaches us that falling is not failure, but a graceful, necessary step toward future growth.

Autumn reminds us that maturity brings a different kind of beauty. As the leaves show their ‘true colours’ only after they stop producing chlorophyll, so we often show our true wisdom and character later in life. As the days get shorter and the air gets cooler, slow down! Give yourself permission to rest and re-evaluate your goals and direction.

Autumn says; I am ‘perfectly imperfect’. I am resilient, grateful and accept life’s changes.
