An Impromptu Garden Walk in Thornlie

During a hot March day PRHRiA Chair Jan Eastman was busy hand watering her plants - her reticulation had given up some weeks prior. Jan thought it would be nice to have members over to the garden to see how her garden was coping with chilli thrip and what plants were thriving in the hot summer, especially without regular watering.

Jan sent out an email to all members in our region and said they were welcome to visit on Wedneday 20 March in the morning, and a number of us found ourselves taking a casual wander around the garden with Jan, and concluding the morning with a welcome morning tea on the verandah.

Thank you Jan for such a lovely relaxed morning in your beautiful garden. We all enjoyed it!
