Keeping Historic Roses in the Public Domain

PRHRiA has been involved in several Public Garden restorations, replantings, and maintenance programmes, ensuring that historic Roses remain a part of our Public Gardens Heritage. Our most significant contributions have been to Falls House in Lesmurdie, Araluen Botanic Park in Roleystone, and Stirling Square in Guildford.

Private Gardens & The People Who Created Them

Ensuring the Survival of Heritage Roses in Western Australia

PRHRiA has members who have cultivated and nurtured beautiful gardens full of old fashioned Heritage Roses. Some members open their gardens to the Public during the year, either as an Event or by appointment. Some of these gardens you will find listed for Openings on our EVENTS page and some are only open by appointment. Read on to find out more about someone's labour of love with Heritage Roses.
